​SUNY Purchase prepares to raise the curtain on PepsiCo Theater

​The school's Performing Arts Center has undergone a $1M renovation

PURCHASE — Four decades after it first opened, nearly every part of SUNY Purchase's Performing Arts Center has been renovated and now it is almost time to raise the curtain and allow guests inside for the first shows at the brand-new PepsiCo Theater.
"It's good for the entire county, and it's excellent to be able to say that through that, we can bring the best art right here in your backyard," said Seth Solowway, Interim Director of the Performing Arts Center.
The upgrades, some of which guests will be able to see, some of which they'll be able to hear, are expected to not only improve the value of each show but to increase awareness of the arts throughout the community.
